Vertical Blinds

Vertical blinds add quality and style to any commercial environment by providing shade or diffused light that can be simply controlled by the tilting of the vertical slats. Two elements are used in the manufacture of Max Coombes and Son Pty Ltd vertical louvre blinds: a rigid headrail, powder coated in white as standard, to guide the louvre carriers.

The carriers are attached to each other in order to bunch the vanes together at whatever point is required either, left or right or split equally. When rotated the vanes overlap to create maximum screening which may be of lesser or greater opacity depending upon the fabric chosen.

Fabrics may be washable, flame retardant or blackout and can in many cases be matched to Max Coombes and Son Pty Ltd range of roller blind materials.

Bunching

You may not realise, but vertical blinds can be manufactured to suit your needs in terms of how the blinds open and close, and as a result how much space the blind takes up when in the open position - this is known as Bunching.

The diagram on the right details the bunching variations in vertical blind arrangement.

Check with Max Coombes and Son to find the best arrangement to suit your needs.

The table below indicates the width of the "bunched" blinds - depending on the overall blind width.
